I have been involved in Avon for 25 years and I have loved every second, I now have an amazing team, that is growing daily. I am so grateful for the freedom Avon has given me and One of the questions I get asked the most is why I got involved in Avon, so I thought it would be fun to write a blog including the five most questions, I get asked as an Avon Sales Leader Bronze Ambassador.
What made you pick Avon as a career?
When I was a little girl, my Mum used to do Avon and I used to help her, which I really enjoyed. I absolutely love meeting people and all things beauty, so working for Avon was right up my street. I also had a life changing experience, when I got diagnosed with cancer in 2006. Once I got better, I vowed to give up my full-time job as a Legal Secretary and build Avon up and make it my full time job. My son has Autism, so I also wanted to be able to be there for him and take my children to school, hospital appointments and be around when they needed me.
How many people do you have in your team?
I currently have 1195 reps in my team altogether and it’s growing daily.
What is your best success story?
I have so many success stories but one of my favourites is when I first started Avon, I won an Apple iMac computer and 3 iPads, which I gave the children for Christmas, it meant the absolute world to me! I was a single Mum, this was the best and biggest achievement and it meant that I could give my children the best Christmas.
What do you love most about working with Avon?
I love helping my team make their dreams come true and supporting them so that they can be as successful as they want to be. It’s the best feeling in the world! I also love the time and freedom it has given me.
